PHIA WALLA
RESIDENT ARTIST, EST. 2024
they/them
Phia’s style comes from the natural world, but in twisted and unnatural ways. They enjoy playing in surreal, magical, dark and whimsical realms. Working only in black ink, they focus their attention on the little details while working to fit, form to, and flow with each individual’s unique body.
They like to describe tattoos as a way to put your insides on the outside. Their larger goal through their art is to help people feel more at home and confident in their bodies. Phia has been obsessed with tattoos since they were a little kid and started working in a traditional street shop in 2019. Their other interests are evolutionary science/biology, aerial dance, and learning Spanish.

JENPA KONCHOK
RESIDENT ARTIST, EST. 2024
he/him
Jenpa Konchok has been tattooing full time since 2015. Before tattooing professionally, he worked as support staff in tattoo shops beginning at the age of 14. To him, tattooing felt inevitable and natural– kids draw on themselves with markers and pens, and it seems that marking our bodies is something humans will always want to do, a part of the human experience worth investigating.
Now someone who thinks of himself as a graphic designer working in the medium of tattooing, his work is strongly influenced by subcultures and art movements. Goth and punk subcultures, gay culture, kink, Brutalism, Modernism, the Bauhaus, ancient and medieval art, Art Deco and other 20th century design movements form an unlikely alliance in his work.
When he’s not tattooing you can find him in the museums, dark rooms, and coffee shops of his beloved New York City.
